Once an NFL player has been placed on one of the following lists by his actual NFL team (See below), the General Manager that rosters the player in this league may do the same.
Injured Reserve (IR) Non-Football Injury/Illness (NFI) Physically Unable to Perform (PUP)
There are an unlimited number of IR spots in this league, and GMs may reactivate IR players immediately upon their player's NFL team activating them back to the active roster. While a player is on IR in this league, their salary and contract years still count toward the cap. However, at any time while on IR, a GM may decide to waive or trade the player (As long as it occurs during a time in which trading is active). Additionally, if a waived IR player is claimed by another team, that player will automatically revert to IR on the claiming team's roster (Provided that the player is still on his actual NFL team's IR, NFI, or PUP list). If he is no longer on his actual NFL team's IR, NFI, or PUP list, a waived IR player who is claimed will be placed onto the claiming team's active roster, necessitating the roster room to accommodate the claim, as usual.
Before the new league season officially begins each year, all IR players must be re-activated to their GM's active roster. Any IR player who is not activated by their GM by the deadline will be force added back to their roster. If there is no roster room, league managers will force add IR players back onto the active roster at their own discretion.
