For those of you who are not in the Discord/have not been following this, Fantrax torpedoed several of our previous seasons by deleting data/players on those previous league years. When I was double checking some of the records this summer, I realized discrepancies and reported them to Fantrax. Fantrax's response was not great. At first, they asked what we wanted them to do about it. I told them that as paying customers, we wanted those mistakes fixed. They told me that previous seasons could not be edited. By using screenshots with timestamps, I proved to them that they had been the ones to perform those edits, which they then copped to. However, they clarified their remarks to say that they didn't mean to suggest that they couldn't edit the previous seasons, but rather that we could not. So, I asked them to just undo the edits that they made which caused the issues to our league seasons. They said they would not do so, and then essentially threatened us by saying that if we did not pay up, we would be losing our premium features (Only one of which is vital to our league).
My response was to try to call them, to speak with them in person, but their telephone support is a total sham, as it simply re-directs you to contact them by e-mail. So, late last night, during the game, I tweeted about their poor customer service/decision making from the league's account, to which they responded by locking us out of our league site nearly 48 hours prior to the expiry of our premium features (The league site had a reminder that the fee had to be paid on or by 9/30, so I assume we would've had until midnight ET of the 30th). This is an incredibly petty way to deal with customers of 14 years (Or any length), as they're simply trying to bully us into silence because they didn't like that we were giving them a bad review, essentially.
While I encourage any and all of you to get involved to try to pressure them into reversing their decisions (Whether that means talking about it on your socials/sharing it with your friends/other fantasy acquaintances), I do respect if you do not want to do so. Vote your conscience. Just know, once Saturday hits, basically, all of our previous league records are not reliable any longer, and therefore, if anything is accidentally deleted or entered incorrectly, there will be absolutely no way to verify it.
For now, don't freak out that you can't access our league site. If I am unable to force a policy change from them on this, I will handle the rest of the fee for this year--at which time I will also call for a vote on which site we should use for scoring next season.
Thanks again for any and all help that you are willing to provide/have provided on this, and I hope we are able to get them to simply fix the issues that they have created.
