Hello all. As discussed in the Discord, we wanted to have some type of protection for players who either contract COVID, or regardless of vaccination status, have to miss any time due to being placed in the league's COVID protocol. Ultimately, the only thing that has been mentioned in our Discord discussion is the ability to apply COVID IR players to the regular IR spots. While there will be no salary relief, neither in the way of removing the cap hit of the COVID IR player, nor a free agent whom you can cut without penalty, it seems at least allowing a GM to place a COVID IR player on the actual IR, following our regular IR rules, is appropriate. Please vote on this in a timely manner, so that we can inform teams about the rules for this upcoming season. Thanks again for your consideration.
