League Activity Rules
If during the season, you field a lineup with inactive players, when the opportunity existed to replace them with active players on your bench, it will be logged by League Managers. You will be given a warning, and after multiple such occasions, you will be removed from the league. If you are going on vacation or will be away for an extended period of time, simply post in our vacation tracker to let other league members know.
Salary/Contract
The salary cap is $80. At no time can you be over this salary cap. If you are found to be in excess of that figure, for whatever reason, all previous moves will be reversed until you are back under that figure.
The team contract length cap is 75 years. At no time can you be over that amount. If you are found to be in excess of that figure, for whatever reason, all previous moves will be reversed until you are back under that figure.
Trading
To complete a trade, follow the instructions in the Trade Review section.
IF YOU POST A TRADE AND IT GETS ACCEPTED IN THE TRADE REVIEW SECTION, THEN YOU CAN NOT BACK OUT OF IT UNLESS BOTH PARTIES ASK THE TRC TO TAKE IT DOWN. OTHERWISE, IT HAS TO BE VOTED ON BY TRC MEMBERS. IF IT'S APPROVED, IT GOES THROUGH. IF IT'S VETOED, YOU WILL GET YOUR PLAYERS BACK.
Rookie Draft
We will have a rookie draft near the start of league every year. It will consist of 3 rounds. Draft order will be determined by our previous standings. Trading draft picks is permitted. Rookie salaries will be set as follows:
1st Round picks - $3
2nd Round picks - $2
3rd Round picks - $1
1st, 2nd and 3rd Round rookie picks will carry a maximum contract of 5 years (5y). Each team may decide which length of contract to sign a rookie for, PROVIDED THEY HAVE THE SALARY CAP, AVAILABLE YEARS, and ROSTER SPACE!
Rookie draft picks will not count against your cap or roster space until they are signed. Rookies must be signed to a team's roster, or traded to another team, by the Rookie Signing Deadline, or else the players will automatically enter UFA.
Player Designation
Player Positions will be designated by a combination of Rotoworld depth charts, Ourlads depth charts, and a team's posted depth chart on their team site. In the event that Fantrax gives a dual designation, we will use those three sources to determine what is that player's correct position. If a team does not have an officially posted depth chart at the time that roster decisions must be made, we will use how the player is listed on their roster page. If there is a disagreement between how a player is listed on Rotoworld and Ourlads, we will use the team's official depth chart to decide. Also, if Rotoworld and Ourlads agree, but the team lists the player at a different position, we go by the team's listing.
Positional Minimums
General Managers MUST keep positional minimums during the regular season. This means that every week, a GM must be able to field a lineup of at least 1 QB, 1 RB, 2 WR, 1 TE, 1 RWT, 2 DL, 2 LB, 2 DB, 2 ID. The player doesn't necessarily have to be active, just on your roster. The same thing goes for bye weeks: as long as the player is rostered, he counts toward the count at his listed position. The only exception to this rule is if you have two players on IR, and incur further injuries to the point where you cannot field a legal lineup by positional minimums.
CDFL Retirement Rules
If a CDFL player retires from the NFL, you will have the following options.
Option 1- You can retire the player and no matter how much the contract is salary/length. In this circumstance, you only pay a 1 year penalty at half the salary.
Option 2- You can drop the player and pay a penalty of half the player's salary for the remaining years on their contract.
Option 3- Just keep him on active roster.
