As has been the case for every season since 2012, the league WILL NOT allow players to be eligible at multiple positions. Therefore, as rosters begin to be finalized, we will proceed to purge the list of players currently listed as eligible at multiple positions on Fantrax of that designation, using Rotoworld depth charts, which has been our guide since this rule was enacted, to determine eligibility.
Last year, we ran into an issue with this, as one team had a player that escaped our careful eyes (when you're dealing with thousands of players, oversights are going to be a given, but we intend to prevent/reduce these as much as possible), resulting in said GM not meeting his positional minimums for Week 1. Additionally, this discovery was made after the signing period had closed in Week 1. As such, please take the time to look over your rosters on Fantrax and alert myself or any Roster Manager of this designation so that we don't miss this and won't have a similar situation occur again. We'll do our best, but ignorance is not an acceptable excuse for not catching this. If you look over your Fantrax roster and find the problem yourself, we'll avoid any such situations in future, even if you aren't staying up on which position a player is actually listed on the Rotoworld depth charts. Thank you all in advance.
