Through two weeks, several things have become apparent; Firstly, this is perhaps the craziest first two weeks in NFL history, particularly at the quarterback position. Secondly, it demonstrates how wrong my Preaseason PRs were. Lastly, while some, like the defending-champion Eagles are way down, there is still plenty of time to make back up for poor results. Only eight teams remain undefeated, seven of which occupy the top-7 spots. The only member of the undefeateds not to be ranked that highly is Chicago, who does not enter the top-10 even (Or move, despite a win this week) on the basis of points (25th in Points Scored and 28th in Points Allowed, which shows he’s been quite a bit lucky with the schedule). In fact, all of the undefeated teams, save New England (3rd in Points Against, but is also leading the league in Points Scored) are in the bottom two/thirds of the league in Points Allowed.
Five top-10 teams lost this week, meaning that there are two new entrants (Houston and New Orleans) into the top-third of the PRs. The biggest gain was made by New Orleans (+9), and the largest drop was by Arizona (-11). The bottom three remains the same. There’s still quite a bit of fluctuation in Week 2, but things should begin to level out next week when we have four possible records instead of just three. So if you don't like where you are right now, just start winning, and it'll correct itself. These rankings were based on the Week 1 Power Rankings point totals of Week 2 results.
