As will be published and detailed in the new QB/K Rules section, when the Rules Committee finishes touching it up/updating it, it is time to announce this year's (and the inaugural) QB Rule Arbitration Panel. This year, the serving panel members will be myself, Matt (MIN) and Trey (SD). In the event that one or more of us become involved in a situation wherein being on the panel becomes a conflict of interest, that/those members will be replaced.
As this is the first year of this panel's existence, we want to make sure that this process goes as smoothly as possible. One of the ways to do this is for the league at large to be familiar with the QB Rules. When the Rules Committee publishes the QB/K Rules final draft later this week. Another way to get a look at what a rough idea of how the panel will work is to view the QB Rule Reform post in the Suggestions section.
Teams in potential violation will be contacted in the next few weeks by the panel. From that point, the panel will follow the guidelines as outlined in the aforementioned new QB/K Rules.
