I think it’s an awful trade for KC, but doubt it’s collusion. It’s her team, she can run into the ground if she wants.

KC is a new owner. The trade committee is here to protect teams not owners. I haven't been in the league long and have already seen a few owners not even last a year. Stop letting these owners make these trades and leave the league 6 months later.

The rb thing is totally subjective . if the trade were mack for Edwards straight up could you veto that ? Idk man 720 yard in 8 games is pretty damn impressive and ravens are going to run the ball about 2000 times next year. it's not like mack has been durable. If jackson plays like he did last year shes taking a qb next year and hoping someone gives up a high pick for him which i doubt happens. Are Mark Ingram & Justice Hill jokes to you? If so, I need to add them to my stand up routine, Bc it’s short on laughs.

Like I said, I’m not sure which way I’m going on this until I get and explanation specifically how the trade helps KC. On the surface it seems heavily in LAR’s favor, but if KC has a compelling reason that the trade makes sense then maybe I could get behind it. I feel like there’s no point in a TRC at all if we blindly approve every trade. Tie in with it being a new owner who was brought in by LAR if I’m not mistaken, and I just think it’s worth getting more info.

Sounds like you want to know how she is running her team because if you look at the stats you would know why she is making this trade. Now if you think there is collusion between the two because they are friends then veto it, but I am not really sure what else can be said besides she is running her team the best way she feels she can win and be competitive.

Were only here to prevent collusion or trades that are so obviously one sided they shouldn't happen. This doesnt fall under either of those 2 categories. I know I'm one of the more liberal trc owners I just dont think we have any business running peoples teams . To that point I know on more then 1 occasion we have lost owners because some dbag goes on day long rants after they make one trade that they dont like.

I tend to agree with you, which is why I have never vetoed a trade. I am within my rights to ask for clarification from the owners though, as I’ve done many times before. If they can state how it benefits their team then I am fine with that. I am not trying to run anyone off by any stretch of the imagination.

My thoughts on this is my offense needs someone solid week to week which is what I’d get with brees. Not sure Jackson or Mack could provide me that reliability. I know Drew won’t be around forever which is why I could use the extra picks in 2020. And the 2020 first helps let go of Mack, and the fact Indy isn’t a run heavy offense I might get some use out of Edwards even though he isn’t a starter with a BAL heavy run game.

I like how no one mentioned that she’s getting a 1st round TE here.

I like how no one mentioned that she’s getting a 1st round TE here. Because they used a third round TE more than said first round TE?

There is no rhyme or reason to vetoing trades apparently. Not sure how this trade is distinguishable from trades that have been vetoed in the past. Oh well, with no clear guidance for TRC members, you’ll get results that are all over the board.

As the owner of said 3rd round TE, I would love nothing more than to have Hurst bomb out but everyone knows the rule of thumb is that TEs take longer to develop and are rarely ready year 1. If you draft a TE in the 1st round of this league you’re expecting a delay in your gratification.
