The Trade Deadline has now come to a close, and there will be no more trading until after the culmination of the postseason when the league announces the reopening of the window. Good luck teams. You may still continue to sign free agents as your roster and cap room/years allow.
Also, I will publish a set of playoff scenarios sometime later today. Please let me know if you find any errors.

It's always the last week day (Or maybe Thursday in years past, so it's possible we got an extra day this time around) of Week 10. I don't know if there was an announcement or who was responsible for making it, but I mentioned it in the power rankings this week, and at least five of the recent trade discussions posts mentioned the deadline in their title or content of their post. Doesn't mean there doesn't need to be one, but I didn't take it upon myself to make another one outside of PRs because it looked like everyone knew from the trade discussions.

I think We needed a hard announcement on this. I don't know what it was last year. I did not know this was this week. It seems like it should just be a known date by everyone and that is not realistic. I thought we would be good thru the reg season.

I don't disagree about needing a hard announcement, but Mike, I sent you at least five messages dating back to last week talking about the deadline coming up, referencing the date of the deadline and offering trades, including one to your personal e-mail, and you never responded. So there's not really an excuse on why you wouldn't have known if you were on and active, unless you just weren't reading your PMs, in which case, you may not have seen an announcement anyway. |

If you are taking about letting me know about the deadline the. you must be talking about the one titled McCaffrey that you were sending me. I read the first one and didnt respond thinking you'd understand I'm not interested. Yet you keep sending these desperate messages as if I have to have him. I stopped reading your messages on this thread. I responded to all other talks, except your continued ones on McCaffrey. If you were actually trying to tell me something other than selling me on a guy i dont want then a different thread would be necessary. One titled trade deadline instead of "mcCaffrey".

And yes, when I'm talking about letting you know about the deadline, I am absolutely talking about the messages I sent you about McCaffrey that let you know about the deadline. You don't have to have him. I could see why you might want him, especially when every other member of the projected top-5 and I had discussions about him, and I've yet to have someone tell me they're not even interested in discussing him, but you don't have to have him. So, I'm not going to apologize by doing my due diligence and trying to fortify my options. I can take no for an answer. All it takes is someone to actually say no instead of ignoring me, and with your history of absenteeism, I was legitimately not sure if you were ignoring me by choice or ignoring me because you weren't paying attention (Because even if your assertion is true about getting back with me every time, and I'm not sure it is, there are more cases of you not getting back with me before a matter of weeks had passed than not). But you chose the latter. Which one of us is a dick for that? As far as the deadline though, you're making my point for me. You're admitting to intentionally ignoring messages that told you when the deadline was. I don't see how you have any case to say you didn't know about it then. |

I personally will apologize for the "non-announcement". I also want to apologize for me being absent over most of the week last week. Not making excuses, but I recently am filling in for a co-worker and became a "department chair" at my school. This means I am doing my job and someone elses job at the same time. I will try to get on more and such.
