I had actually offered Trey EJ as a replacement for Carr and he did decline and I saw yesterday Glennon was benched but EJ had already played so I couldn't make the switch. Sorry like I said before I'm not watching football so didn't see it in time. As far as having to drop a starting QB if you end up with 2 starters due to injury I don't think was ever a rule but I do remember having to give up Cousins cheap at some point a couple years ago but can't remember the exact reason maybe it was that.

Well Hogan has been named the starter, even though rotoworld does not list him as the starter yet.

Cin should not be eligible for him. Named starter

Cin should not be eligible for him. Named starter Again guys, this is a rule we have not enforced before in this league or the NFFL. So I don't understand the selective enforcement of it. Including by someone who has rostered two starting QBs during the season just three years ago. Additionally, when the bid was made, he was not named the starter, and that is still not reflected as the starter on the Rotoworld depth charts. So even if we were to selectively enforce the rule for the first time, that would not be going by the rule.

If the rule says you cant bid on a starting qb if you own one. Then you are violating the rule chris. This isn't hard to understand. Why write the rule if your going to ignore it?

That is a valid point.

What does the current Rotoworld depth chart say?

You know rotoworld takes thier time on updates. They themselves blurbed that hogan is the starter. They acknowledged that fact. It was announced before you acquired him. I don't think you would have this stance if another person was trying to acquire a 2nd starter thru ufa.

It's a simple question though. If we're enforcing the rule for the first time, the rule says we go by Rotoworld depth charts. Can any of you tell me who is currently listed as the Cleveland starter by Rotoworld depth charts?

No offense Cecil, but I think history has proven that Chris would not have had a problem with it if it were someone else. I am speaking from experience, as I did the same thing last year, and there was no such issue.

I'm fine with Chris doing this as long as I don't get called out for doing the same thing later on. Hogan wasn't the starter when he acquired him. There shouldn't be a problem.

I will say this, I was very vocal about allowing JAX to do this last year and said we are setting ourselves up for future issues.
In a league with 32 teams, a GM should not be allowed to pick up another starting QB as a bye week replacement.
