As I had mentioned before, I am starting a podcast about dynasty league football. I'm recording my first show later this week. I have yet to come up with a compelling name, but here are the leaders so far:
1. Touchdown Vulture/The Fantasy Vulture/Dynasty League Vulture
2. Dynasty League Dynamo
3. (The) Dynasty Stash (Radio)
4. Dynasty League Radio/Dynasty League Insider
5. IDP (Individual Dynasty Podcaster)
6. DDS (Dynasty Daily Standard, as it will mostly be a podcast devoted to Dynasty League, but will also touch on DFS and Standard formats as well to maximize the audience and expose them to dynasty league football. The only thing I worry about is the word Daily in the inclusion of the title, as it will be a weekly podcast, not a daily one, and I don't want people getting confused and expecting a daily).
I also have considered just naming it after the league as our official podcast and calling it the Canton Dynasty Podcast or Canton Dynasty Football Radio (or any combination of those), but to some degree, while a great deal of the content will mention/mirror our league, it also has plenty of standalone stuff. So, I'm not sure that really fits. So please take the time to shoot me ideas (for either names or themes of shows, or guests I should have on or anything really), and the sooner the better.
I have included a poll that will allow you to vote for your favorite of the names suggested, or to select other and suggest your own. Don't be bashful or think yours isn't as good as the names listed above, or that I wouldn't consider yours if you submitted it. You can even submit it to me via PM if you were embarrassed (I don't know why, but...?). Who knows, you might be the one to submit the best name yet. And even if I don't go with it, it might help to inspire a different line of thinking that leads me to something else. So by all means, if you have an idea, share it. I'm in no way locked into one of those names, and that's the exact reason that I'm crowdsourcing this with you guys and others. In Podcasting, the name is the most important thing to draw followers/listeners to the show. I want the name to POP, and I don't know that the 6 above accomplish that. No matter what, thanks for your input.
