1. You must have the necessary amount of salary cap/years/roster space to sign any rookie. If you do not posses one or all of these criteria, your signings will not be honored until your roster situation is rectified.
2. You MAY NOT EDIT, DELETE OR CHANGE YOUR POST IN ANY WAY, UNLESS INSTRUCTED TO DO SO BY THE LEAGUE MANAGERS, OR TO RECTIFY A ROSTER SITUATION BY SIGNING A ROOKIE TO FEWER YEARS ONCE BROUGHT TO THE ATTENTION OF LEAGUE MANAGERS AND YOU RECEIVE APPROVAL TO DO SO. FAILURE TO FOLLOW THIS RULE MAY RESULT IN FORFEITURE OF SAID ROOKIE(S) AND/OR FUTURE DRAFT PICKS!
3. At 12:01 AM ET the day after the deadline, the league will begin to purge un-signed rookies from rosters. Keep in mind that you don't HAVE to sign your drafted rookies, but that you do not retain their rights or get any kind of compensation for them if they are not signed by the deadline.
4. The maximum contract length for a rookie is 5 years, but you can sign a rookie for any variation of years from 1-5 provided you meet the conditions spelled out in #1.
5. The amount of the contract for each player is pre-determined by the round in which they were drafted. 1st Rounders are $3, 2nd Rounders are $2 and 3rd Rounders are $1. If you do not recall which round a player was drafted in, simply consult the Rookie Draft Board, or ask.
6. Pay attention to and post in the correct format or your signings WILL NOT BE HONORED until they are fixed (ONLY AT THE REQUEST OF LEAGUE MANAGERS). Remember, the correct format is Player Name (Team-Position) $Salary/years(notated by a number and then the lower case letter y) Ex: Calvin Johnson (DET-WR) $1/1y
