Hey guys, I think that it's now time to address the elephant in the room. Those who have been on know what I'm about to say. There are far too many members who have not been on for an elongated period of time. Five of our members have not been on now in nearly a month, many of whom have key personnel and QB Rule-related moves to make, and two of those members have not been on in nearly 3 months. Those members are Jacksonville (Jordan) and Oakland (Derrick). To my knowledge, Jordan no longer lives in my apartment complex, and has not responded to my messages nor the messages of other GMs who have told me that they tried to contact him. However, since several of us in this league know him, I would implore those of you who feel comfortable to, to reach out to him and see if he's interested in continuing. In the time that he was active on this site, he impressed/surprised me with how he handled himself and how many questions he asked to learn the format, and I actually think he profiled as a long-term GM, but we can't have any GM not logging on for 3 months at a time, off-season or no.
As for Derrick, unfortunately, Jordan is the one who brought him in, so I don't know if there's a natural way to contact him or if there was enough that he did to salvage him as opposed to replacing him. Once again, several people in this league went to college and I believe played football with him, but I lost his number when I changed phones this summer (I know, in 2016 no less), so I have no way to contact him. If others of you do have a way, please explore that now. Otherwise, he's a candidate for replacement STAT.
As for the League Fee, it has remained unchanged at $39.95 since the first message I sent to this effect. PLEASE get on and pay your league fee if you haven't yet, or weren't explicitly mentioned by someone else as paid for by them. Our service will disconnect during the regular season at this current rate. Don't make that happen. Just pay up the $2.50~ apiece and we'll all be good. Thanks again guys. We're mere weeks from the start of the regular season, so let's get this thing in ship shape before opening day!
