Please advise, Free Agency will open tomorrow morning, Monday 5/27, at 8 AM ET. Also remember these key free agency rules, for all of our new and long-term members:
1. Bidding is constrained to 24 hours (Unless an upbid by the person who is not leading the bidding is made within the final hour of bidding, at which point an additional 6 to 12 hours may be tacked on at the request of the bidder who has just been outbid)
2. To bid in FA, unlike making a pick in the Rookie Draft, you must have the roster room, cap space, and available years to bid on a player. If you don't meet each of these criteria, your bid will be invalidated.
3. The bidding is calculated by TOTAL VALUE, not just $. So for example, $1/4y (or 4 total) beats $2/1y (or 2 total). To find out which bid is higher, simply multiply the number of dollars by the number of years.
4. You cannot exceed 4y on any one player in FA, so if the bid reaches 4y for a dollar value, you must go up another dollar value to outbid that person. You cannot tack on additional years beyond. There is no half dollar bidding or tying bids that can be made.
5. If anyone jumps the gun and bids before 8:00:00 ET, they will be subject to a suspension from FA per the rules.
Also, to all of the new folks, you can find a list of Free Agents in our league by going to our Fantrax page and looking at the 'Players' tab. Just make sure that the drop down box at the top left is set to 'All Available Players.' PLEASE REMEMBER TO POST IN CORRECT FORMATTING! If you have any questions, please reach out to a League Manager or other league member.
Ex. of proper format:
First Last (TEAM-POSITION) $1/1y
OR, applied to a real player
Tom Brady (NE-QB) $1/1y
That's all for now folks. Good luck, and happy bidding!

Also, Make sure that the FA was not picked in the Rookie draft as they will be listed as FA on Fantrax until they are signed by the team that drafted them.

Also, Make sure that the FA was not picked in the Rookie draft as they will be listed as FA on Fantrax until they are signed by the team that drafted them. Good point Goose! Can’t remember who, but somebody tried to bid on Saquon last year...

Also, Make sure that the FA was not picked in the Rookie draft as they will be listed as FA on Fantrax until they are signed by the team that drafted them. Good point Goose! Can’t remember who, but somebody tried to bid on Saquon last year... I think it was Cecil's guy "Mike." I want to say he lasted two months before he spaced. So, for all rookie owners, bidding on the #1 rookie pick as if he hadn't been picked is incredibly predictive of not having success in this league. Please pay attention to who has been drafted, and mind your Ps and Qs.
